Marholmen is an island in the Roslagen archipelago an hour's drive from Stockholm and Uppsala. Here, people have rested, educated and had fun for over a hundred years. In 1913, wholesaler Nils Berg and his wife Hanna donated part of Marholmen to the Landsorganisationen (LO) to give workers' wives and wives the opportunity to rest. Today, the island attracts guests from near and far to stay, eat, meet, swim, go to the spa or just be in the beautiful archipelago environment.
